Application
The Omega FR™ 5000 Series is the first waterproof, windproof and breathable outerwear product that combines high visibility worker conspicuity with protection from the thermal hazards associated with an electric arc flash and hydrocarbon flash fires. Intended for use by electric and gas utilities as well as the oil and gas industry, Omega FR™ is designed for today’s multi-hazard work environment. The garment range offers NFPA 70E PPE CAT 2 and NFPA 2112 protection.
Application: Gas and Electric Utility Transmission and Distribution, Telecommunications and CATV, Storm Restoration, Electrical Maintenance, Electrical Switching and Meter Service.

Electric Arc (ASTM F1891, NFPA 70E PPE CAT 2), Flash Fire (ASTM F2733, NFPA 2112), Chemical Splash (ASTM F903), High Visibility (ANSI 107 Class 3 Level 2), Breathability/Comfort (ASTM E96, ASTM F1868), Waterproof (ASTM D3393) and Cold Weather (ASTM F2732).
Fabric – Omega FR™ Hi Vis/Nomex® IIIA Outer Shell - Fluorescent Lime Yellow/Navy or Fluorescent Orange/Navy; ePTFE composite moisture barrier; Nomex® Jersey Knit Inside.
Finished fabric weight – 305gsm/9.0oz Electric Arc and Flash Fire Resistant.

Removable fleece liner options:
100% double knapped Nomex® IIIA Knit Fleece or,

Electric Arc Resistant - does not melt, drip, ignite or break open. Minimises burn injury from an electric arc flash.

Options - NASCO has the ability to create high quality images using sllk-screening, single and multi-colour heat transfers and reflective logos using 3M™ Scotchlite™ Technologies. Camera-ready artwork is necessary for price quotes. There will be a charge for artwork designs unless camera-ready artwork is provided.
