Application

The ArcWear™ Polartec® FR Hi Vis Fleece Jacket/Liner is manufactured from world renowned Polartec® FR fleece and adds warmth and versatility to our ArcWear™ range. It has the versatility to be worn as a stand-alone Jacket or to be incorporated as a removable Liner for our ArcWear™ Omega FR™ 5000 Series and MP3 3000 Series Jackets. Either way, the added options to an outerwear program mean more value. Designed with comfort in mind, this electric arc and flash fire resistant fleece maintains a level of safety consistent with high performance FR clothing programs. Garment features include:

  • Removable – transforms a product into a four-season garment.

  • Insulated – provides protection from cold weather.

  • Electric Arc resistant – minimises burn injury from an electric arc flash.

  • Flash Fire resistant – minimises burn injury from a hydrocarbon flash fire.

  • Fall protection access – allows for easy use of a fall protection harness.

  • Multi-functional – while offering High Visibility protection.

Application: Gas and Electric Utility Transmission and Distribution, Telecommunications and CATV Installation, Oil Refineries, Gas and Oil Service Contractors, Oil and Gas Drilling and Electrical Maintenance.

  • Electric Arc (ASTM F1506, NFPA 70E PPE CAT 2), Flash Fire (ASTM F1930, NFPA 2112), Flame Resistance (NFPA 1975 and 1977), ASTM D6413, ISO 14116 (EN 533), ISO 11612 (EN 531) and High Visibility (ANSI 107 Class 3 Level 2 [Fluorescent Lime Yellow]).

  • Fabric blend – Modacrylic (67%), Rayon (29%) and Spandex (4%) – Fluorescent Lime Yellow or Bright Orange.

  • Finished fabric weight – 424gsm/12.5oz Electric Arc and Flash Fire Resistant.

  • Arc Rating (Ebt) 9.1 cal/cm2, HAF 85%.

  • Seam construction – Overcast/Overedge.

  • High Visibility protection.

  • Wind resistant; four times more wind resistant than traditional fleece.

  • Water repellent surface sheds rain and snow.

  • Adds warmth, is lightweight and highly breathable.

  • Electric Arc Resistance – will not melt or drip on the skin when exposed to flame. Minimises burn injury from an electric arc flash.

  • Flash Fire Resistance – will not melt or drip on the skin when exposed to flame. Minimises burn injury from a hydrocarbon flash fire.

  • This item has the versatility to be worn as a stand-alone FR Jacket or to be incorporated as a removable Fleece Liner for the ArcWear™ Omega FR™ 5000 Series and MP3 3000 Series Jackets.
