ArcFlashWear Solutions

We focus on higher-end, more advanced solutions with enhanced features and capabilities. Our niche market approach, offering specialised solutions for a well-defined group of industries, allows customers to identify solutions that precisely match their unique OHS needs and preferences. Our premium FR/AR fabrics offer crucial protection against thermal hazards in various industries, particularly those with potential arc flash or flash fire risks. Our FR fabrics resist ignition and burning, while our AR fabrics provide an additional layer of protection against the intense heat of an arc flash.

FR fabrics feature self-extinguishing properties to limit burn injuries, while AR fabrics feature specific ATPV ratings indicating protection against electric arc.

Westex® UltraSoft® FR/AR Secondary Workwear

USA manufactured Westex® UltraSoft® offers several protective benefits, primarily due to its FR and AR properties. It is designed to protect against arc flash, flash fire and molten ferrous metal hazards. UltraSoft® has a history of stringent testing and proven performance that delivers unparalleled protection, providing safety managers with peace of mind and workers with the confidence they need to get the job done. UltraSoft's construction, a blend of 88% Durable FR Cotton and 12% High-Tenacity Nylon, provides a balance of comfort and durability.

Bruck PR97® FR Secondary Workwear

Australian manufactured PR97® is a brand of FR fabric specifically designed for protection against molten metal splashes, radiant and convective heat and electric arc hazards in industries such as primary smelters, remelt sites and foundries. It is known for its ability to shed molten metal such as aluminium, cryolite and iron, preventing them from penetrating the fabric and causing severe burns. PR97® is a blend of natural fibres, Merino Wool and Lenzing® FR, with both fibres offering unparalleled protection and uncompromising comfort. The fabric's FR properties are inherent, meaning they will not diminish with washing or laundering over time.

FR Rated Industrial Sock

In the PPE industry, there has been an increase in the need and innovation for multi-hazard PPE garments that test for protective performance against multiple exposures that workers encounter in the workplace. The FR Rated Industrial Sock compliments our Westex® UltraSoft® and Bruck PR97® workwear and other solutions by providing an additional multi-purpose layer of FR/AR protection. It is an essential component of workwear safety and provides premium multi-hazard protection, comfort and durability. The garment significantly aids workers in dangerous arc flash, flash fire and molten metal environments by providing a crucial, often overlooked, layer of protection for the feet and lower legs.

Stormy FR/Anti-Static Inflatable Life Vest Systems

Manufactured in Australia, Stormy Life Vests (SOLAS accredited) are specialised, high-performance personal flotation devices designed for the offshore oil and gas industry to provide superior protection against, not only drowning, but also extreme weather, fire and other industrial hazards. Unlike traditional bulky life vests, Stormy vests are engineered to be worn comfortably throughout long, demanding shifts, ensuring that protection is always immediately available. Built with cutting-edge technology, the inflatable vests ensure compliance with international safety standards while prioritising wearer mobility.

DRIFIRE® Prime® FR/AR Base Layers

Manufactured in the USA, DRIFIRE® Prime® FR is an ideal next to the skin (undergarment) fabric for protection against intense heat as well as acting as the first layering system for protection against extreme cold. DRIFIRE® Prime® FR base layers provide inherent and permanent flame resistance, helping to protect the wearer from arc flash and flash fire hazards. They also offer moisture management by wicking perspiration away from the skin, promoting comfort and odour control, with a four-way stretch feature that allows for maximum mobility.

ENESPRO® Primary PPE Arc Flash Kits

ENESPRO® AR Suit Kits are manufactured in the USA using the most trusted and proven AR brand fabrics on the market, such as Westex UltraSoft®, TECGEN CC™, DRIFIRE®, Kevlar® and Nomex®. With a strong focus on the utility and electrical services sector, ENESPRO® has a long history of providing equipment and apparel that comply with the most rigorous technical safety standards. ENESPRO® arc flash kits protect for 8, 12, 20, 40, 65 and 100 cal/cm2.

ENESPRO® ArcGuard® Primary 100 / 65 CAL Arc Rated 18" / 14" Long Gloves

ENESPRO® ArcGuard® 100 CAL arc rated 18" long gloves and 65 CAL arc rated 14" long gloves protect hands and arms from the intense heat and flames of an arc flash event. Constructed from multiple layers of inherently flame resistant Dupont™ Nomex® and Kevlar®, these protective gloves have a 100 and 65 cal/cm2 arc rating (ATPV) and meet NFPA 70E (PPE CAT 4), NFPA 2112, ASTM F1506 and CSA Z462 standards. The multi-layered FR/AR materials are designed to absorb and dissipate the heat from an arc flash preventing severe burns. The 18" and 14" length provides protection for a significant portion of the forearm, which is crucial during potential arc flash events.

ENESPRO® Class 00, 0 and 2 Voltage-Rated Glove Kits

ENESPRO® Class 00, 0 and 2 Type 1 Glove Kits offer low and high-voltage insulation and arc flash protection, featuring flexible rubber construction and high-quality leather protectors to enhance safety and dexterity. The kits are designed to comply with NFPA 70E and CSA Z462 standards, ensuring protection for electricians and utility workers against electric shock. Each class has a particular consensus standard colour-coded label, which provides crucial identification to help electrical workers quickly identify protective gear for particular voltage tasks, ensuring they they do not use lower-rated gloves in higher-voltage situations.
