GlenGuard FR/AR (Twill 5.2oz / 176gsm) 

The FR/AR capabilities of GlenGuard's 5.2oz twill weave fabric are built directly into the fabric's core, meaning the life-saving protection is permanent and will never wash out or wear away over time. Even though it is remarkably lightweight, the fabric achieves an impressive CAT 2 rating for arc flash protection, offering a high level of defence against sudden, intense electrical explosions. It is also designed to self-extinguish the moment the flame source is removed, which drastically reduces the risk of severe burn injuries. By successfully combing strict safety standards with a lightweight, breathable weave, this material ensures workers stay fully protected against heat and flame without having to wear heavy, suffocating extra layers. 

Wickzz™ Technology

Perspiration happens. And when it does, GlenGuard's Wickzz™ Moisture Management System™ solves the problem. GlenGuard's technology wicks moisture away from the skin and then disperses the moisture across the fabric, allowing it to quickly evaporate and dry.

Description - The DRIFIRE® Horizon Work Shirt line is ultra-lightweight and delivers trusted CAT 2, 12 CAL protection, durable construction and all-day comfort. The difference is simple: the vented work shirt adds a vent designed to help release heat and keep the wearer cooler in hot environments. 

  • NFPA 70E for Arc Flash, UL Certified to NFPA 2112 for Flash Fire, ASTM F1506 for Arc Flash, CSA Z462 for Arc Flash (Canada), OSHA 1910.269.

  • Sizes: SM - 3X, RG | MD - 3X, TL. The Product PDF / Size Chart download shows Product Information and a Body Measurement Chart. The body measurements are in inches. To convert centimetre measurements to inches, divide your centimetre measurements by 2.54 and select the corresponding inch measurements from the chart.
  • MOQ - 5 units (across different sizes to reach MOQ).
  • Read the garment label and launder per instructions on garment label.
  • Machine wash warm on maximum 60°C (140°F). Use mild detergent. Tumble dry on medium setting.
  • DO NOT iron, use chlorine bleach, hydrogen peroxide, fabric softener or starch.
  • Wash according to the instructions above to remove any contaminants in order to maintain fabric performance when the garment becomes soiled with dirt, grease or oils.
  • If contaminants cannot be removed after laundering, it is best to discontinue use of the garment.
