About ArcFlashWear

ARC FLASH, FLASH FIRE, CHEMICAL AND MOLTEN METAL SPLASH ARE UNPREDICTABLE, BUT YOUR PPE SHOULDN'T BE.

Who We Are

Workers around the world in industries from oil and gas, mining, smelting, petrochemical and utilities to general manufacturing, pharmaceuticals and emergency response, all face different on-the-job hazards and all depend on personal protection to keep them safe.

ArcFlashWear is the Australian Distributor of NASCO 'Made in USA' ArcWear™, PetroWear™ and WorkLite™ Hi Vis Protective Outerwear Solutions. NASCO is North America's leading manufacturer of certified arc flash, flash fire, chemical splash and extreme temperature outerwear solutions, specifically engineered for hazardous environments such as electric utilities, oil and gas and other industrial settings.

ArcFlashWear is an Australian specialist supplier of primary and secondary FR/AR solutions that offer protection against thermal and dangerous substance exposures. Our solutions offer the highest level of protection, quality and durability with integrated FR/AR properties that ensure protection is permanent.

What We Do

We are not an Online Store. We are a consultative supply chain Partner. We help businesses assess workplace hazards, evaluate risks and recommend tailored FR/AR solution programs to minimise or eliminate those risks.

This includes selecting appropriate fabrics to ensure chosen solutions comply with consensus standards and meet performance expectations, while considering factors such as comfort, cost and long-term benefits for the organisation and employees.

Specialisation Through Developed Expertise And Focused Effort

Our specialised solutions go beyond standard safety workwear. They provide protection against injuries like severe burns, internal organ damage, hearing loss or even death. Our solutions act as a last line of defence, creating a barrier that self-extinguishes and insulates against extreme temperatures, even when other safety precautions fail. This level of specialisation and expertise is crucial for protecting workers from arc flash and flash fire events, where ordinary safety clothing could be a greater hazard.

The primary advantage of our FR/AR fabric technologies is enhanced safety by providing thermal protection and improved survival rates during arc flash and flash fire incidents. Beyond safety, our fabrics offer exceptional durability and compliance with consensus standards. They have been engineered for comfort and breathability, meeting the demands of various high-risk occupations.

DuPont™ Nomex® AR Solutions

DuPont's range of arc rated (AR) materials primarily centres on Nomex® technologies that offer durable, inherently flame resistant protection for electrical utility, manufacturing and industrial workers. These materials are designed to protect against arc flash hazards, extreme heat, flash fire and small molten metal splashes, with properties that cannot be laundered out or worn away.

DuPont™ AR materials meet global safety standards, including NFPA 70E, NFPA 2112 and EN ISO standards.

Consensus Standards

Knowing the importance of certain processes and taking steps to identify the best practices are vital. Our global consensus standards provide valuable guidance resources for OHS professionals to apply in their roles to protect workers.

Our Issuer Organisations publish the world's most authoritative standards for testing materials against a wide range of exposures. They are responsible for maintaining uniformity of standards in all areas across the globe.
