ENESPRO® ARCGUARD® 100 CAL Coat and Bib Overall Arc Flash Kit

ENESPRO® Arc Flash PPE kits are specialised, American-made kits designed for electrical workers exposed to arc flash hazards. They offer comprehensive, high-level protection ranging from 8 to 100 CAL, while prioritising wearer comfort and compliance. The kits are engineered to be lighter, more breathable and more user-friendly than traditional alternatives, significantly improving compliance with NFPA 70E and ASTM standards covering arc flash and flash fire.

Arclin Kevlar® is an inherently heat and flame resistant para-aramid synthetic fibre with a molecular structure of many inter-chain bonds that make it incredibly strong. It is best known for its use in ballistic body armour. Kevlar® also has many other applications due to its high tensile strength-to-weight ratio - it is roughly five times stronger than steel on an equal weight basis. Kevlar's® key working principles rely on a combination of advanced molecular engineering and specialised fibre structure, enabling it to absorb, distribute and dissipate high-velocity kinetic energy while also protecting against arc flash and extreme thermal hazards. It does not melt, drip or support combustion. Kevlar's® molecular structure allows it to maintain structural integrity and protect wearers at temperatures up to 450°C (842°F). 

 

Arclin Nomex® is an inherently heat and flame resistant meta-aramid synthetic fibre that won't melt, drip or support combustion in air, providing a superior barrier for what's inside from the hazards around it. The unique structure of Nomex® fibre is non-flammable, so performance is built in and can't be washed or worn away. When Nomex® is exposed to intense heat, its fibres thicken and carbonise, absorbing heat energy in the process. The molecular structure of Nomex® not only prevents heat from passing through but also prevents electricity flowing through when exposed to electrical arc. The fibre is also highly resistant to most common acids and alkalis, fluorocarbon refrigerants, transformer oil and silicon.

  • Crossvent technology keeps the wearer cool and fog-free while a premium anti-fog face shield provides unobstructed visibility. The hood is engineered for serious protection and comfort, while the 100 CAL arc flash Coat and Bib Overall are designed to work together for complete coverage and mobility. Inherently flame resistant fabric delivers protection that will not wash or wear out.

ARCGUARD™ 100 CAL Arc Flash Coat

  • A generous cut allows for unrestrictive movement and the rib knit cuffs provide a secure yet comfortable fit. Additional features include an FR hook and loop front closure and stand-up collar, which deliver extra coverage; inherently flame resistant fabric ensures long-lasting protection that will not wash or wear out over time; a front closure with a high-temperature zipper with DuPont™ Nomex® zipper tape provides a secure and safe closure system.
  • The embroidered arc rating is displayed on the LHS of the Coat. 

ARCGUARD™ 100 CAL Arc Flash Bib Overall

  • Designed with the wearer in mind, the 100 CAL Bib Overall features quick-release shoulder straps for easy garment removal. Side slant pockets and hook and loop calf closures provide extra comfort and convenience, while 26 " high-temperature leg zippers with DuPont™ Nomex® tape allow easy donning and doffing over work boots. The quick-disconnect shoulder straps allow for easy and rapid garment removal. The Bib Overall features side slant pockets and is manufactured from inherently, durable FR/AR materials providing protection that will not wash or wear out over time.
