100% FR Cotton (9.0oz / 305gsm)

100% FR Cotton fabric delivers dual-hazard protective performance combined with the comfort of natural fibres. Developed under the NSA umbrella, this specialised material undergoes advanced flame retardant treatments that chemically bond directly to the Cotton fibres, ensuring that its protective properties remain permanent and will not wash or wear out over the life of the garment. When exposed to extreme temperatures or an arc flash, the fabric creates a stable carbon char layer and self-extinguishes rapidly rather than melting or dripping, preventing severe secondary burns.

The fabric's vibrant Orange colour serves as a critical safety feature, maximising visibility for industrial personnel operating around moving vehicles, heavy equipment and low-light environments. Despite its tough, heavy-duty protective nature, the 100% FR Cotton construction preserves the natural breathability, soft texture and moisture absorption of premium traditional Cotton. By blending visibility features, arc flash safety standards and irritation-free daily comfort, this specialised material represents a premium choice for high-risk work environments.

Description: This rugged, technical vest keeps workers comfortable and protected in demanding, high-risk environments.

  • NFPA 70E for Arc Flash, ASTM F1506, CSA Z462 for Arc Flash (Canada), OSHA 1910.269.
  • Fabric – 100% FR Cotton.
  • Fabric Weight - 9.0oz / 305gsm.
  • ATPV - 11.2 cal/cm2 PPE CAT 2.
  • Colour – Orange.

  • Flame resistant short waist design for easy accommodation of a tool belt.
  • Four functional pockets: mobile phone, pencil and two lower pockets.
  • FR zip front closure.
  • Silver FR solid reflective trim for enhanced visibility (does not meet ANSI 107).
  • Mic-clip band on left shoulder.
  • Sizes: SM - 3X.
  • MOQ - 5 units (across different sizes to reach MOQ).
  • Read the garment label and launder per instructions on garment label.
  • Machine wash warm on maximum 60°C (140°F). Use mild detergent. Tumble dry on medium setting.
  • DO NOT iron, use chlorine bleach, hydrogen peroxide, fabric softener or starch.
  • Wash according to the instructions above to remove any contaminants in order to maintain fabric performance when the garment becomes soiled with dirt, grease or oils.
  • If contaminants cannot be removed after laundering, it is best to discontinue use of the garment.
