DRIFIRE® FR/AR PPE CAT 4

NFPA 70E PPE Category 4 (Minimum 40 cal/cm²)

This is the highest standard category, used for extreme hazard environments. It requires a heavy, multi-layer arc flash suit, including a Jacket/Coat, Pants and Hood, all rated for at least 40 cal/cm². Working in Category 4 PPE is physically demanding and significantly increases the risk of heat stress, which is why de-energising equipment, if possible, is always the preferred alternative.
