About DRIFIRE® FR/AR

FR/AR Cotton / Nylon Blend (6.5oz / 220gsm) 

The fabric is an engineered blend of FR Cotton and Nylon, which provides a soft feel for greater comfort, enhanced life and protective performance. The fabric is engineered to focus the excellent abrasion resistance of the Nylon on the outer surface to prolong wear life, while the Cotton fibres are focused towards the skin to optimise comfort.

The blend is guaranteed flame resistant for the life of the garment in either high-temperature industrial or home washing procedures. This makes it ideal for enhanced protection from electrical arc, flash fire, molten ferrous metal and welding exposures. The fabric provides exceptional comfort from breakthrough technology making it market-proven protection workers will want to wear.

Description - The DRIFIRE® FR/AR Work Shirt is made from a lightweight FR Cotton / Nylon blend, providing protection against arc flash and flash fire hazards while ensuring breathable comfort and durability.

  • NFPA 70E for Arc Flash, UL Certified to NFPA 2112 for Flash Fire, ASTM F1506 for Arc Flash, CSA Z462 for Arc Flash (Canada), OSHA 1910.269.
  • Fabric – FR Cotton / Nylon blend.
  • Fabric Weight - 6.5oz / 220gsm.
  • ATPV - 9.5 cal/cm2 PPE CAT 2.
  • Colours – Navy, Khaki.

  • Two front chest pockets for extra storage.
  • Back pleat ensures ease of movement when working normally or in tight spaces.
  • Quickly identifiable compliance on sleeve.
  • Sizes: SM - 3X, RG | MD to 3X, TL.
  • MOQ - 10 units (across different sizes to reach MOQ).
  • Read the garment label and launder per instructions on garment label.
  • Machine wash warm on maximum 60°C (140°F). Use mild detergent. Tumble dry on medium setting.
  • DO NOT iron, use chlorine bleach, hydrogen peroxide, fabric softener or starch.
  • Wash according to the instructions above to remove any contaminants in order to maintain fabric performance when the garment becomes soiled with dirt, grease or oils.
  • If contaminants cannot be removed after laundering, it is best to discontinue use of the garment.
