Flex™ Canvas Shell (9.5oz / 322gsm)

Flex™ Canvas Shell fabric is a high-performance, dual-hazard material engineered to balance rugged industrial safety with modern, ergonomic comfort. It is utilised in premium industrial workwear and transforms traditionally stiff canvas into highly mobile protective workwear.

DUAL-HAZARD COMPLIANCE AND PROTECTION

  • CAT 2 Protection: The fabric carries a certified ATPV of 14 cal/cm2, classifying it within PPE Category 2 for electrical safety.
  • Multi-Standard Safety: NFPA 70E, UL Certified NFPA 2112 for Flash Fire, ASTM F1506, CSA Z462, OHSA 1910.269.
  • No-Melt / No-Drip: The fabric properties ensure it will not melt, drip or ignite into a continuous burn when exposed to extreme thermal hazards.
  • Abrasion Resistance: The fabric offers three times the resistance to tears and punctures compared to standard cotton work canvas.
  • No-Wash-Out Security: The fabric's chemical and inherent FR structure guarantees that its flame and self-extinguishing properties will never fade, wash out or degrade over the entire operational life-cycle of the garment, no matter how many industrial launderings it undergoes. 

 

Plaid Cotton / Nylon Liner (6.25oz / 212gsm)

Plaid Cotton / Nylon Liner is an interior fabric layer used in heavy-duty workwear, specifically for flame resistant protective safety apparel. The Plaid pattern refers to the classical checked design pattern woven into the liner. The fabric is a blend of Cotton and Nylon in an 88/12 ratio. This combination delivers the natural breathability and soft moisture absorbency of cotton alongside the enhanced tensile strength and abrasion resistance of Nylon. The liner works in tandem with the heavier canvas shell to achieve CAT 2 safety levels and compliant arc ratings for electrical, welding and industrial environments.

Description: The DRIFIRE® FR/AR Flex™ Shirt Jacket delivers lightweight warmth for cooler days, when just a Shirt isn't enough, but an insulated Jacket is too much. The garment's versatile design bridges the gap between workwear and daily wear, making it a go-to on and off the worksite.

  • MOQ - Subject to Negotiation.
  • Read the garment label and launder per instructions on garment label.
  • Machine wash warm on maximum 60°C (140°F). Use mild detergent. Tumble dry on medium setting.
  • DO NOT iron, use chlorine bleach, hydrogen peroxide, fabric softener or starch.
  • Wash according to the instructions above to remove any contaminants in order to maintain fabric performance when the garment becomes soiled with dirt, grease or oils.
  • If contaminants cannot be removed after laundering, it is best to discontinue use of the garment.
