POLARTEC® FR HI VIS FLEECE

The Polartec® FR Fleece Jacket / Liner is manufactured from world renowned Polartec® FR knit fabric and adds a range of multi-functional benefits to our ArcWear™ range. The Fleece has the versatility to be worn as a stand-alone FR Jacket or incorporated as a removable Liner for the ArcWear™ Omega FR™ and MP3™ Jackets. Designed for comfort in mind, this electric arc and flash fire resistant Hi Vis Fleece maintains a level of safety consistent with high performance FR clothing programs. The Polartec® FR Fleece Jacket / Liner is soft and versatile, provides worker comfort and is multi-functional. 

APPLICATION: Electric Utilities, Oil and Gas and General Heavy Industry for on-the-job protection against electric arc, flash fire, intense heat, flame and pool fire.

  • Electric Arc (ASTM F1959, NFPA 70E CAT 2), Flash Fire (ASTM F1930, NFPA 2112), Flame Resistance  (NFPA 1975 and 1977), (ASTM D6413, ISO 14116, ISO 11612) and High Visibility (ANSI 107 Class 3, Level 2 [Fluorescent Lime Yellow]).
  • Electric Arc ASTM F1959 - ATPV (Ebt) 9.1 cal/cm2, HAF 85%.
  • Composition - Modacrylic (67%), Rayon (29%) and Spandex (4%).
  • Finished fabric weight - 407gsm/12.0oz.
  • Seam construction - Overcast/Overedge.
  • Colours - Fluorescent Lime Yellow (FY), Bright Orange (BO).

POLARTEC® FR FABRICS - TESTED AND PROVEN TO PERFORM

Polartec started developing performance flame resistant fabric technologies for the US Military in 2003 after combat uniforms began melting against the intense heat of IED detonations.
