Polartec® FR Hi Vis Fleece Jacket

Polartec® FR specialised fabrics merge high-performance, inherently flame resistant fabric technology with superior comfort, durability and multi-hazard protection. They are engineered as high-end, versatile and breathable thermal layers for demanding industrial environments.

The Polartec® FR Fleece Jacket / Liner is manufactured from world renown Polartec® FR knit fabric and adds a range of multi-hazard benefits to our ArcWear™ and PetroWear™ ranges. The Fleece has the versatility to be worn as a stand-alone FR Jacket or incorporated as a removable Liner for the ArcWear™/PetroWear™ Omega FR™ and PetroWear™ MP3™ Jackets. Designed with comfort in mind, this electric arc and flash fire resistant Hi Vis Fleece maintains a level of safety consistent with high-performance FR/AR clothing programs. The Polartec® FR Fleece / Liner is soft and versatile, provides worker comfort and is multi-functional.

APPLICATION: Electric Utilities, Oil and Gas and General Heavy Industry for on-the-job protection against electric arc, flash fire, extreme heat and pool fire.

Fabric: Modacrylic | Rayon | Spandex Blend 

Polartec® Power Dry® is engineered for superior, next-to-skin moisture management using a patented bi-component knit construction. It works by employing different yarns on either side of the fabric to create a mechanical wicking effect that pulls moisture away from the body and disperses it for rapid evaporation.

  • Polartec® FR base and insulation fabrics are made with flame resistant, proprietary fibres, like modacrylic that protect and withstand intense heat.
  • Inherently flame resistant: Flame resistance is built into the fibres themselves, meaning it cannot be laundered out.
  • Self-extinguishing: Engineered to cease burning on its own when a flame source is removed.
  • Moisture management: Designed to wick moisture away from the skin to keep the wearer dry and regulate temperature during intense activity.
